Dr. Kurt Allenberg

UNITED STATES - Dr. Kurt Allenberg is a postdoctoral fellow affiliated with the Minnesota Consortium for Complementary and Alternative Medicine. He received his doctorate degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Copenhagen in 1988, where he focused on the effects of exercise and diet in regards to type 2 diabetes, impaired glucose tolerance, and obesity.

After graduation, Dr. Allenberg went to work for the 3M Company in Germany. While with 3M, he trained and supported the European Technical Service personnel for wound care products. He proved successful in the field and was soon transferred into product development. In this capacity, Dr. Allenberg received the first patent ever issued to 3M European Medical Product Laboratories for an orthopedic product line. This led Dr. Allenberg to the United States where he continued research and development in orthopedics and was granted two U.S.-patents and a number of international patents for his work.

Dr. Allenberg has recently initiated a series of clinical research projects to study TAHITIAN NONI Juice and plans to continue his research at the University of Minnesota.
