Randall N. Smith, Chief Financial Officer

Vice President of Finance, Treasurer, and CFO of Morinda Holdings, Inc., Randall N. Smith is a seasoned financial and business leader. He has proven success in operations management, strategic planning, financial and tax planning, treasury, acquisitions, and operations and expansion in foreign markets. Randall holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting and business administration from Southern Utah University, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Utah, College of Law, where he was a William o’Leary Scholar.

Randall has more than 20 years of direct financial management expertise in management of “Big 5” CPA firms’ business operations and broad financial consulting experience with client companies. A skilled negotiator, he has been instrumental in achieving significant revenue/profit improvements and tax savings through problem solving, developing unique solutions, reengineering, team building and leadership expertise. 

Always striving to stay on the edge of his profession, Randall has attended more than 100 seminars and training courses on various business, tax, and personal/executive development topics. He is also willing to impart his knowledge; Randall has been an instructor on international expansion and various tax and accounting topics at CPA firms’ national training sites and locally sponsored accounting seminars. He has also instructed for National Business Institute.

Randall is co-author of Arthur Andersen’s Partnership Tax Training Course, and editor and co-author of Arthur Andersen’s Newsletter, Technology Forum. He is a licensed CPA in Utah and a member of the American Institute of CPAs.
