Anna Harkowska, cyclist (Poland)
|
Anna Harkowska was born in Świnoujście in 1980. With a love of sports since her early childhood, she first became an active triathlete and eventually a successful cyclist. Yet in 2002, her athletic career was abruptly interrupted by a terrible accident, when a car struck her. After undergoing several surgeries and spending a long time in rehabilitation, she finally got back to professional cycling. She finished third in the Polish road championships in 2007 and won several other competitions, mainstream as well as those for people with disabilities. Anna is dreaming of participating in the Paralympics as well as the Olympic Games 2012, and is currently preparing for it.
During rehabilitation a colleague introduced Anna to Tahitian Noni and she started drinking Tahitian Noni™ Bioactive Beverage right away. At a later stage, she again heard about noni from her own trainer Marian Kowalski and obtained more details about this unique fruit. Due to the high quality of the beverage, she began drinking it on a regular basis. “I noticed that it adds that a little extra to life which is necessary in my cyclist profession”, she emphasizes. “I drink Tahitian Noni™ Extra because I’m convinced that it plays an important role in my life and career”, she says.
