AMY COX, Ulster Heralds “Sports Personality of the Year 2010” debuts as Spokesperson for TAHITIAN NONI™!
This month, talented Irish teenager Amy Cox, became Tahitian Noni International‟s youngest spokesperson! Touted as the best female rally car driver around, she is the only female to win the Irish Junior Championship three times, and be voted The Ulster Herald Newspaper 2010‟s “Sports Personality of the Year”. Amy began rally driving at the tender age of 11 years old and started competing at just 13! “You improve as you get older and get that bit more experience…I’ve just been building and learning new things each time I’m out. It’s gradually paid off, and I began to gain wins. To win the Irish Junior Championships three times, the first time that it had ever been done, was unbelievable for me!”
Amy is also determined to keep the boy racers on their toes stating “In the Junior’s there were a couple of girls at it, but locally there are a lot more boys. …it would be nice to finish in front of the fella’s for another while”.
