Pamela M. Nisevich is a nutrition expert with Nutrition for the Long Run, a sports and wellness consulting practice. She is an adjunct instructor at Sinclair Community College, a former instructor at Miami University, and a clinical dietitian at Dayton Children’s Medical Center. Pamela’s media outreach and participation includes nutrition expert appearances on NBC and CBS affiliates and as an author in Today’s Dietitian, IDEA Fitness Journal, My Family Doctor, and various newsletters and educational handouts.

Pamela is the Director of Continuing Education for the American Dietetic Association Practice Group, Sports, Cardiovascular and Wellness Nutritionists (SCAN) and a member of SCAN’s Executive Committee.

Pamela is well versed in various clinical, commercial, and educational settings with diverse patient and client populations. Her sports nutrition experience includes counseling athletes of all ages and abilities, developing meal plans for both individuals and teams, developing event-day nutrition strategies, and lecturing on acute and chronic diseases that affect different sports and populations. Pamela’s firm, Nutrition for the Long Run, provides individual and group consultation on the topics of sports and general nutrition, weight management, and wellness. With a strong educational base in both dietetics and exercise, Pamela facilitates patient and client quests for optimum health, wellness, and athletic performance.

Originally from Dayton, Ohio, this energetic RD earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics from Miami University and a Masters of Science in Medical Dietetics from The Ohio State University. As a member of PowerBar’s Team Elite and Brooks Running ID program, Pamela is a competitive runner who recently finished the Boston and the Chicago Marathon. She consistently achieves recognition in local and national races of varying distances. An occasional tri-athlete, she placed among the top 100 females at the Accenture Chicago Triathlon in 2006.

Now Pamela is a proud member of the Tahitian Noni team. She is a great consultant for us and she recently published an article about increasing endurance during marathons and guess what her secret was?
